Room to Grow

In early 2018, we expanded our plant potential when we acquired more than 640-acres of farmland in the Central Oregon town of Terrebonne, land previously grazed by cattle and horses.

Our new farm is very special. The soil is rich, clean water from the Crooked River is plentiful, and the ranch itself, surrounded by rugged rimrock, was the childhood homestead of former Oregon Governor Tom McCall. Known for his passion for the land and blunt speech, McCall worked to ward off environmental degradation associated with post World War II development. He was credited for numerous innovative laws aimed at protecting Oregon’s environment.

We think of him daily as we nurture the land and preserve his boyhood home. We know he’d love what we’re doing.
