Nurturing Endangered Plants

If a medicinal plant is endangered, we make every effort to grow it ourselves or we find a responsible resource to harvest it in the wild.

Take Goldenseal and American Ginseng for example. These medicinal plants are endangered in the wild because of over-harvesting. So, we’re working to grow and nurture these medicinal plants on our farm.

Taking the long view

It takes years to nurture plants like Goldenseal and American Ginseng. It’s an extra investment in time and farmland, but we believe it’s worth it to ensure these important, healing plants are here to heal today, tomorrow and far into the future.
