Background and Use
As Culpeper wrote about lavender in the 1600's ... is so well known, being an inhabitant in almost every garden, that it needeth no description.
It is possible that aside from the wonderful calming aroma, lavender may be effective against microbial growth. However, this warrants further research in this area.
