Background and Use

Ginger has a long history of use in both Ayurvedic and Asian Traditional Medicine for overall health. The Chinese took Ginger for a wide variety of reasons including rheumatic complaints. Similar indications are cited in old Indian Ayurvedic texts.

This valuable spice has been used as a food and a folk remedy in the Ayurvedic system of medicine in India for centuries. It was indicated for a number of ailments including rheumatism.

In medicine, urtication, or flogging with Nettles, is the process of deliberately applying stinging Nettles to the skin in order to provide temporary relief from pain.

Turmeric is a valuable spice which has been used as a food and a folk remedy in the Ayurvedic system of medicine in India for centuries. It was indicated for a number of ailments including rheumatism. Whole Turmeric contains hundreds of chemicals including curcumins and turmerones which modulate the inflammatory response.

Green tea has been used as both a beverage and a method of traditional medicine in most of Asia. 

Rosemary has hundreds of folklore and traditional uses. The antioxidant properties were utilized hundreds of years ago as a meat preservation agent. Before we had refrigeration, people wrapped their meat in rosemary leaves to preserve it.

In ancient Greece, Oregano was called 'Joy of the Mountain' and was considered a symbol of joy and happiness. During the Middle Ages, Oregano was often chewed to relieve toothache, rheumatism, coughs and indigestion.

Precautions

Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if unusual symptoms occur. Do not exceed recommended dose unless under the guidance of a health care professional.

Allergens

Avoid in individuals with a known allergy to Oregano or Rosemary and possibly other herbs from the Lamiaceae family including Hyssop, Basil, Marjoram, Mint, Sage and Lavender.

WARNING: If you have never taken Nettles and are prone to allergies, it is recommended to take one capsule and wait 24 hours before using the suggested dose.
