German Chamomile has been used as a traditional medicine and tea for thousands of years, and is widely used in Europe. In the United States, Chamomile was first cultivated by German settlers and had been included in the United States Pharmacopoeia and the National Formulary. Today, it is included in approximately 26 national pharmacopeias, including those of Austria, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Russia.
Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while nursing, until further research verifies no contraindications. Discontinue if unusual symptoms occur.
Individuals sensitive to plants in the Daisy family (sesquiterpene lactone-containing plants) should use all Chamomile supplements with caution.
