Although we do grow herbs on our Biodynamic® farm, we also purchase additional herbs from a few organic farms in the northwest, Canada and overseas. A vast majority are from certified organic farms in the Pacific Northwest, but for those that do not grow well in this part of the world, we do import from other places. When this is the case, Oregon's Wild Harvest does its best to ensure that the people growing their herbs receive a fair price for their efforts. Once we purchase herbs from our partners, they are always thoroughly tested to ensure their quality meets OWH's extremely high standards. These partners must also share our commitment to sustainable organic agribusiness and supporting local farms.

I have been using Oregon's Wild Harvest herbal products since the company began in 1994. My results with the products have been nothing short of fantastic. In my office I charge a lot of money for supplements. The reason is that I want ONLY the best products on the market for my practice and that quality does cost a lot of money!. When people come see me for their health care, a lot of them have already been to the health food store and walk in to my office with a shopping bag full of supplements. They want me to work with what they already have. I explain to them that if they worked, than they would not be in my office. Further, I can say that I have personally been through the manufacturing facilities at least three times with tours. From the very first tour over 10 years ago to the most recent one a couple of months ago, I've always been impressed by the "avante garde" level of quality control. In fact, just this last visit alone I was able to see that you had just spent "bucoo bucks" on this very fancy chemical analysis machine. Why? Because not only do you require the visual inspection of the product for its quality and what the herb is suppose to look like, you can now do a chemical analysis of the herbs as they come in to determine if it really is the right plant, if the freshness is there, and if that plant is really the quality that the supplier says it is suppose to be, really is!!

On top of all that, the prices are most competitive with even the poorest quality of brands. The only herbal products that are less in cost are those that are "cheap," not properly assayed &/or have been so irradiated that they are worthless. This is never the case with OWH products. The quality can always can be trusted, and I feel confident recommending the products to my patients for all of the above reasons -- purity, quality, safety --- and most of all, because they work.
