Natural Aftershave
Many of the commercial aftershaves contain petroleum-derived alcohol and chemical perfumes. Cosmetics are loosely regulated and do not require stringent pre-testing by the FDA. Furthermore, cosmetic companies aren't required to list ingredients on product packaging.
Topical use of natural herb compounds can be effective in maintaining skin health and the effects from shaving. The nice thing about making your own cosmetics is that you can tailor the scent and properties by using different herbs.
So save money, the planet, and your face by trying something new! Experiment with different herbs and fragrances to suit your preference.
