Herbal Salad Dressing

This easy home-made recipe provides an easy way to incorporate these beneficial herbs , oils and onion in our diet. It also avoids the processed omega 6 oils that are used in commercial salad dressings.

Make enough for five days and store in the refrigerator.

The herbs will infuse into the oil over time to provide even more flavor and health benefits.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or preferred vinegar)
  • 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs such as thyme, rosemary, marjoram
  • ¼ of a medium/large sweet onion, minced

Optional

Garlic, pepper. If you prefer a sweeter dressing, add a liquid sweetener such as agave or honey.
