Herbal Bath
We have been formulating herbal preparations for many years, and want to share with you our passion for using herbs. Here is a simple herbal bath recipe you can prepare at home. As winter forces us to stay indoors and hibernate a little, take the time to indulge in a steamy bath using relaxing herbs. The best herbs to use are the fragrant ones, but use any you like, either alone or in combination. Here's how:
- Pour 2 cups of boiling water onto a handful of dried herbs (about 4 ounces of herb).
- Cover and let the herbs steep for at least 15 minutes - overnight is best.
- Strain and add the infusion to your bath water.
For relaxation: Lavender, Chamomile, Hops, Valerian
For healing: Calendula, Comfrey, Echinacea
For energy: Peppermint, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme
