Research News - Fall 2006

Last year, we collaborated with the Helfgott Research Institute and National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland and contributed to a publication recently published in Phytotherapy Research (August edition). Healthy human subjects were given extracts of astragalus, echinacea and licorice that were grown and manufactured on our farm. The results demonstrate that these herbs stimulated immune cells. We plan to continue this exciting project and will provide an update in future newsletters.
