Falling in to Fall

It's been an exciting summer on the Oregon's Wild Harvest farm, and we're gearing up for a busy autumn season.

The crops have never been more lush! It's a beautiful place to take a walk right now, or just sit and breathe the fresh mountain air. Maybe that's why we've seen record numbers of people join us for our summer herb walks. OWH has hosted people from Vermont and New Hampshire to California, from health food stores to Naturopathic Colleges, from herbal reps to folks just curious about alternative health care.

Owner and herbalist Randy Buresh enjoys taking customers and other interested parties on his famous herb walks. During the walk, he finds and picks an herb, shares the herb's history and primary uses, and then passes it around for the participants to see, feel, smell, and even taste. It's a sensual, educational, interactive experience that people seem to really enjoy.
